Great Lessons from Jan 28th LiveSmart 360′s Broadcast Event

The key to ascending the ladder of success is to start climbing.

The key to ascending the ladder of success is to start climbing.

Did you notice? In the broadcast event on January 28th, (still available at LiveSmart360.tv), there were six gentlemen seated on Chuck Hallberg’s lanai in Naples, Florida. Everyone of them was a millionaire. Maybe you don’t dream about that level of success. You may have told yourself (or had others tell you) that achieving that kind of wealth is impossible.

But whether you dare to dream or not, most assuredly, you do have a desire to at least better your life, starting with increasing your cash flow.

The secret to doing that may be as simple as learning from a few observations of the individuals in the telecast.

1.  Not one of the participants in the program was born into money. They started out  with an average or below average income. So, eliminate the first voice in your head that tells you that you will never do any better than you are doing right now.

2.  Not one of them started out with experience. There’s another voice that needs to go away. They figured out what they didn’t know and then  learned it.

3.  None of of them, except Riccardo Ferrari and Mark McCool, started out in their younger years.  Turn off that voice, too. You can switch roads and direction anytime you decide to.

4.  Not one of the fellows got rich by playing the lottery. Kick out the voice that says you have to be lucky in order to be rich. Waiting on luck and random selection is a waste of time and money. Actually it’s worse than that. It’s a waste of your life. While you are waiting to pick the right numbers, or horse, or card, or whatever, your life is ticking by, and you are squandering opportunities by the second.

5.  None of the gentlemen was an “overnight success”. Everyone in the broadcast will tell you that the struggles to achieve were both preparatory for the challenges that come with success and every bit as valuable as the success. The ardors of the climb enhance the joy of accomplishment, and the journey is as much fun as the reward at the end.

Ask yourself this. Who enjoys the view from the summit more? The one who got set down on top of the mountain by a helicopter? Or the one who actually made the climb? The view may be exactly the same. But the exhilaration is totally different, bordering on awesome.

6.  Not one of the participants got where they got because they happened to “know somebody”. They didn’t achieve because they had friends in high places who doled them favors. They didn’t have some politician pulling strings and opening doors.

They did, however, “know somebody”. A bunch of “somebodies”, actually. But the ones they knew were the ones they met as they built their businesses. And THOSE were the ones whose leveraged activity helped them achieve their success.

Besides. If you have to “know somebody” to help open doors and make a way for you to succeed, you already do know some people who can do that. How about the one who introduced you to LiveSmart 360? How about the guys in the broadcast? That is exactly what they are there for. You have a huge advantage that they did not have. YOU know THEM!

7.  Not one of the speakers has lived a “charmed life”. If you knew some of the struggles they had to face, survive, and recover from, you would wonder why they ever got out of bed every morning. So, silence the voice that tells you that it’s all just too hard, too tough, so why bother. It’s the heat and pressure that turn a lowly lump of coal into a diamond.

Remember. Every experience in life can have purpose. It can make you better, or it can make you bitter. Sure. You’ve had “X” happen to you. Of course. You’ve been neglected, passed over, kicked, abused, abandoned, slighted, taken advantage of, betrayed, disappointed, let down, lied to, swindled, yada, yada, yada. Good for you. Now you know what it feels like to be human.

But, what are you going to do about it? Are you going to learn from it? Grow from it? You can use the stones thrown at you to build a bridge to success. Or you can use them to build a dungeon of self pity and bitterness in which you, and you alone reside, where no one will ever be able to get close enough to you to hurt you again. (They won’t be able to penetrate it enough to give you a hug or say, “I love you,” either.) Enjoy that one in your old age.

So, maybe you should watch the event broadcast again. And this time listen without those voices in your head distracting you. Learn from what you hear. And then decide. Take at least one step toward getting to where they are or where you, in your heart of hearts, want to be.

Go ahead. Transform. Grow. Succeed.
